Level 1 Arabic Course

After completing this course, you will be able to do the following:

  • Be able to greet others with confidence

  • Lead verbal conversations in Arabic

  • Be able to give directions and ask question

  • Learn numbers, dates, and times

  • Feel more comfortable speaking the language

  • Gain vocabulary used in the supermarket, grocery store, local markets and souq

  • You will also learn how to write and say the dates, months, ask about the price of things or request change, and discuss the weather or seasonality of a place

Egyptian Alphabet Mini Course

If you plan to continue learning Arabic with UCAN Learning Institute, then following your Level 1 - Beginner Arabic Class, you will take approximately 12 hours of classes to study the Egyptian alphabet. This gives you the ability to read and write since the following course books are printed in Arabic. At UCAN, we believe that learning the alphabet is critical to fully immersing yourself in the language and you’ll be so glad you did!

Introduction to Level 2 & Level 3 - Beginner Arabic Classes:

 

Level 2 Arabic Course

Begin to build on the foundation of your Level 1 program as you begin exploring the language in our Level 2 Egyptian Arabic Course. During this course you will:

  • Begin using different tenses to build your own sentences so you feel more comfortable expressing yourself

  • You will learn past tenses as these are the root of the Arabic verbs making it easy to conjugate them as you advance in our program

  • You will gain new vocabulary words to speak about family and things at home

  • By the end of this course you will learn how to use verbs in daily conversation for the past and present

  • You will continue to learn past, present, future, and past continuous from now through Level 4

Level 3 Arabic Course

After completing Level 1, the Arabic Alphabet Mini Course, and Level 2, you will then be ready to complete your final course in our Beginner Arabic Curriculum. During this course you will learn:

  • Learn future tense and be able to use the different tenses in conversation (past, present, and future)

  • Learn how to make questions and ask them correctly

  • Speak about how your habits are changing using the past continuous tense

  • More adjectives will be utilized to describe things and people

  • You will also be able to understand orders

  • Additional vocabulary pertaining to jobs, hobbies, clothes, responses, and body parts will be gained

  • Overall, you will be using the vocabulary with the tenses to communicate clearly with others
