To feel at home in Egypt is to be able to communicate with the people and to learn their culture. To do that, I felt the need to study Arabic. I was introduced to UCAN and had enjoyed my Arabic classes from day one.

Everyone in UCAN were so friendly. Very relaxing lessons and the teachers were helpful, patient and fun. Learning a new language is not easy, especially Arabic. I will never forget the times when my teacher and UCAN staff came out to help me with the Uber driver due to some confusion.

Learning to speak Arabic has helped me a lot with my travels to the other Middle Eastern countries n also with my volunteering with the local communities.

Thanks to my dedicated patient teachers in U Can in helping me to speak, read and understand the language in such a short time.
